Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have over it. It applies to processing carried out through euroexpo.ro. For actual participation in a fair, the contractual conditions also apply and, where the event is co-organised, ROMEXPO's policies.

What data we collect

Through the quote request form: the company name, tax ID (CUI), contact person, job title, email address, phone number, fair of interest, type of participation, estimated area and the message you write.

Through the newsletter form: your name, email address, optionally your company and the topics you are interested in.

Automatically, at server level: IP address, time of access and pages visited, in the server's technical logs. These logs are used exclusively for security and to limit abuse.

Why we process it and on what legal basis

We process quote requests in order to reply to you and prepare a possible contract — the basis is pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

We send the newsletter on the basis of your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

We keep server logs on the basis of the legitimate interest in keeping the site functional and protected (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

How long we keep it

Quote requests: 3 years from the last interaction, if no contract results. If a contract is signed, the statutory accounting archiving periods apply.

Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe, plus a short period needed to prove consent.

Server logs: 90 days at most.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent personal data. The hosting provider and the email service provider may access it, strictly for the purposes above, as processors, under contract.

For events co-organised with ROMEXPO, exhibitors' data may be passed to the co-organiser, to the extent necessary to organise the event.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before.

You exercise these rights by writing to the data protection address below. We reply within 30 days at most.

Security

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. The forms are protected against automated submissions and limit the number of requests per IP address. Access to the data received is restricted to the people who need it.
